Sister restaurant to local favorite 33 Staves, SHOW PONY is a new Kansas City bar & restaurant.

We started with a silly question: What if we named the restaurant SHOW PONY but never actually show any ponies?

This question sparked a playful game of hide-and-seek, where the pony is suggested but never shown. Instead, we lean into the supporting elements of a horse show—scorecards, bridle tags, ribbons, and judges’ shorthand markings.
